Who’s fighting the mommy wars?

Newsweek says “Enough with the Mommy Wars.” Good. I don’t read Newsweek or own a television. I don’t seem to have any extra time to keep up with the mommy wars.

We are in a war, but it’s not for acceptance or approval from other parents. We don’t really have the time to justify how we raise or don’t raise our children. We probably should spend our time raising our children.

The Internet has the powerful tendency to make its users (or those it uses) feel that what they’re doing is very important. Studies show that there is almost nothing more beneficial for your children than spending time with them. When I finish working (which is supposedly what I’m doing right now) I’m going to spend time with my wife and child. Yes.
